Utility Surveyor

SEP have an exciting opportunity for an experienced utility surveyor to join their utility survey and surveying team.

The team currently provide surveying services to support their clients in the property, civil engineering, oil and gas, nuclear, renewable energy, water and transport sectors throughout the UK. We are looking for the right candidate to join an already thriving team and develop their career. Responsibilities will include undertaking site work using GPR and EML techniques, and will be required to manage ongoing projects.

Desired experience

Familiarity with IDS GPR, RD8000 and Leica/Trimble survey equipment and software would be useful.

Person specification

  • Experienced Utility Surveyor (2 – 4 years experience)
  • Competent in use of GPR and EML equipment for completion of PAS128:2014 standard surveys
  • Competent user of High Precision GPS & Total Stations.
  • Competent user of 2D / 3D AutoCAD
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills including Excel, CAD and some programming would be an advantage
  • Must hold a UK driving license
  • CSCS Card
