Survey & Engineering Projects were tasked with carrying out a laser scan of the full football stadium during the playing season

Challenges

Works were to be carried out during the open season and so works would have to be co-ordinated with the ground staff to ensure that normal stadium operation remained un-interrupted. The scale and complex nature of the historic stadium presented unique challenges in managing the data whilst ensuring that the works were completed to the highest standard and within the timescales provided.

Results

A full 3D pointcloud was delivered to the client, with staged deliveries.
